"Of particular interest, besides the 1833
lighthouse itself, is the 40-foot tall "Milk Bottle" light. This metal
structure was built and installed on the North breakwater in 1903. It was replaced
in 1985 by a simple light pole. The light was restored on 1988-89 and put on display."
